Photon Ultrasonic Facial Massager with LED Light - New Beauty Gadget

Hi fellow beauties out there. After my few posts of my holidays, I'm going to write a review of a new beauty device which I had just purchased. I'm sure a lot of you have seen, read reviews and even may even tried it on yourself. What I'm talking about here is this Photon Ultrasonic Facial Massager with LED Light features. I bought mine from Lazada.com.

One thing about this purchase was - it came without a box. I was like O.O How come a device delivered without a box, only to be wrapped with bubble bag? Bad service. Thank god that my device came in good condition!

Alright. What's in the BOX: It comes with a hand-held ultrasonic facial massager, one eye goggle in case, instruction manual and a electricity adapter. The device I bought is not rechargable, but there are those massager which are rechargeable. It doesn't really matter to me though.

This device comes with 2 main features - the Ultrasonic wave and the LED light features which can be used simultaneously or separately. The details of these 2 features are as bellow (I quoted this from JenniRainCloud's review on the same device):

LED Photon Therapy

• RED Light - Stimulates collagen production, reduce puffiness and pore size. 

• BLUE Light - Kills bacteria that causes acne and tighten the skin.

 

• GREEN Light - Brighten the skin

 

 Ultrasonic Therapy

This device also comes with Ultrasonic Therapy, there are 3 settings to be selected - low, medium or high. The silver panel is the ultrasonic waves generator that delivers the ultrasonic waves deep into the skin. Please see picture below (adopted from beautygadget4u)

How to Use ?

Just a shown in the picture, the operating of the device is pretty simple :

1.  Clean your face from make up, dirt or oil.
2.  Prep you skin with your favourite water-based gel/ serum. Facial oil can be used as well. I personally have used both version before using this device, but I find the 'pricking' sensation was more intense with facial oil compared to using gel.
3. Turn on the power switch.  
4. For ultrasonic therapy, press the 'Sonic' button once for low setting, twice for medium setting and thrice for high setting. Always start with low setting first and adjust accordingly. For myself, I felt tingling and slight 'pricking' sensation with low setting. I dare not go higher setting until I feel comfortable. (See this step in picture below)
5. For LED light therapy, pree the 'Photon' button once for Red LED, twice for Blue LED and thrice for Green LED. (See this step in picture below)
6. You can use both at the same time by selecting both setting, but if you want to use either one therapy, simple follow step 2 or 3. 
7. Apply a bit of the serum/ gel on the silver panel and gently glide it on the face from the chin upwards to the side of the face for lifting effect. (See image below)
8. The device is set to work for 10 minutes, so use it 5 minutes on each side of the face. I like to use 2.5 minutes with Red light and followed by 2.5 minutes of Blue light. This is entirely up to you.

This device has been a great help to busy mummy like me to have some spa like treatment at home and gives effective results to my skin. My husband noticed my skin is more radiant the next day after my 1st treatment. Amazing.

Upcoming Holiday List - Lang Tengah Island

Hello again!! It's some time since I last dropped my Honeymoon at Bali posts. Well, we have to go back to reality somehow. We cannot be living in the 'Holiday' all the time. But, for people like ME, who loveeees to go on holiday, holiday destination will never be out from the head. For a short period, yes. But sooner or later, it will come back into my mind!

Well, what is in my mind now is beach holiday! I've seen the beautiful Nusa Lembongan from Bali. I can't be going so soon again as I'd spent about RM1000 for that trip. Hubby sponsored most of it! So, after seeing the beautiful Nusa Lembongan, I think it's better to go for Malaysia 'Lembongan'! What I have always wanted to go is to Lang Tengan Island! This beautiful secluded island is located in between Perhentian Island and Redand Island. Seriously, this place is beautiful. As you can see here below - crystal clear water, sandy white beach, clear blue sky!

All these pictures above I adopted it from D'Coconut Resort website and some other websites. Not my own picture! But it's really beautiful! D'Coconut package is quite cheap though. It's about RM380++ including surcharge on weekend. Pretty worth it! I'm considering this for my upcoming holiday next year! This year my calender is full!

Bali Honeymoon - Day 3 (Tanah Lot and Going Home to Malaysia)

How quick time passed right? Very quickly we had reached Day 3 in Bali. How time passed. I find that we did not spend enough time in Bali though. This is a beautiful Island and we need to come again to explore more attractions on this Island. As I said, one point of interest to another is very far (about 1-2H ride one way), so more time is needed if we wish to visit more places.

 

 
After the satisfying breakfast, we went to settle our stay bill. It was IDR 1,949,000 total (equivalent to RM500++ for 2 nights stay in this villa - cheap right?)

 We saw this cut mini gas tong outside the office. Well, I had never seen such small gas tong in Malaysia. ^^ so cute

 

 Good bye Unagi Villas. TQ so much to the staff for rendering good service and attend to our needs the whole stay. It's a beautiful villa and I really love our stay here. Hubby feels the same way! 

 We were leaving on the 3rd Day, but I was not satisfied yet as I did not visit Tanah Lot as planned. So we spoke to Juli in the morning and asked if he is OK to send us to Tanah Lot before dropping us at airport. He said he's OK but we had to add IDR 100,000 for the trip. Total we had to pay Unagi additional IDR 300,000 for airport transfer and Tanah Lot trip. We left the villa around 9.30am to go to Tanah Lot.

We reached Tanah Lot around 9.50am and the entrance fee was IDR 30,000 per pax and parking fee was IDR 5,000. We quickly headed to the temple after finished shopping for 2 Bintang T-Shirt for my Brothers

Now, what so special about Tanah Lot that I must go? Well, it's a templet 'floating' on the sea. When high tide, the temple will be 'floating' on the sea as the sea water separated the temple and the land. When the tide is low, the water level reduced and people can walk to the temple on the other side. Amazing right?

At this hour, the tide was still high. Though we could walk further out, but we could not cross it yet.

There was a guard around to stop visitors from going too near to the waves as we could be swapped away by the waves.

 But hubby and I managed to take some beautiful pictures of us visiting Tanah Lot. Yahoo! Dreams come true.

 We then headed to Agong Bali Oleh Oleh to grab some last souvenirs when we were on our way to Ngurah Rai Airport. We departed to Airport around 11.30am.

Our flight was 2.25pm by AirAsia. Got to say goodbye to Bali already...Before our flight we thougt of grabbing some food there. Unfortunately after checking in, the food option available are not cheap at all. One meal per pax will cost more than IDR 100,000. We had balance IDR 100,000++ and we decided not to eat there. We just bought two packets of biscuits to survive the flight. Haha
 So, for other travellers on budget, just take note of this and remember to either eat outside first before checking-in or leave extra cash for use after check-in. If possible, try to eat outside airport.

We reached KLIA2 around 5.00pm, 1/2 hour earlier than expected and we quickly rushed to Yoyo bus stop to catch an earlier bus back to Ipoh. Yes! We reached Ipoh 1 hour earlier after boarding an earlier bus.

Overall, we want to say that we really, truly enjoyed our 3 Days Honeymoon in Bali. Though it's short but it was a wonderful experience for us husband and wife holiday without our cheeky boy for few days. It was a good feeling though. We hope to come again to Bali in coming years and this time, we have to stay 4 days at least to truly explore this Beautiful Island of Indonesia.

Bali Honeymoon - Day 2 Part 2 (Blue Point Beach & Jimbaran Sunset)

Hi. Now, let's continue on the part of my Day 2 in Bali. I had written my Day 1 HERE and my Uluwatu Experience HERE. After visiting Uluwatu, Agus brought us to Jimbaran Beach and on the way, we stopped by Blue Point Beach where that beach is very famous for surfing. We were keen to have a look and quickly walked there.

 While going down to the beach, we saw many many many scooters belonging to tourists. They used motorbikes and scooters to transport their surfing board to the beach.

While walking down to the beach, we passed by many bars and beach restaurants, stalls and shops. I did not take any pictures for that. Sorry.

To get down to the beach, we have to go down this steep stairs. To be honest, I could not get down as it was too steep and I was shaking. I went down halfway and I told hubby I wanted to go up again. I was too afraid to go down.

 As you can see, I had to hold on to the rocks beside the stairs to go down. Very scared.

 In the end, hubby went  down alone to the beach side.

 We stopped at Blue Point Beach about 20 minutes and quickly we found Agus to bring us to Jimbaran. The journey to Jimbaran was about 30 minutes due to the heavy traffic. Blue Point Beach to Jimbaran is about 10 minutes but due to heavy traffic, it took us longer.

While on the way, I asked Agus about the 'temples' I kept seeing along the road. I asked if we can enter these temples. He replied while laughing, "This is not temple, this is house." I was like HOUSE? But it looks like temple from outside. Agus patiently explained that Hinduism in Bali is very strong and before anyone build their house, they have to build the temple first. It's the 'Head' of the home. In addition, Agus said that the wealth of a family can be displayed from the Temple. If you see gorgeous, huge and well defined temple, the family is richer compared to those family with moderate side and 'normal' looking temple. I was like "OOOOhhh"

We reached Jimbaran around 5.50pm and quickly we headed in to look for a place to eat. I was surprised that the whole beach has so many restaurants. Hubby said we should look for set dinner here as it is cheaper.

Very cute. There were many corn stalls on the beach selling Jagung Bakar. Their jagung bakar is very special. Unlike Malaysia one, theirs have sambal on it. Sambal and jagung sounds and tastes weird, but I can guarantee you that it is very NICE (provided you love sambal in the first place). It cost IDR 10,000.

Finally our food arrived. We ordered a set dinner for 2 person which consists of 1 lobster, 8 large prawns, 4 clams, 1 fish, 1 plate of squid, rice, vegetables, peanuts and 2 Bintang Beer. How much was it? It cost IDR 950,000 (near to 1 million weh). This is equivalent to RM 280++. Pricy?  Yup it is pricy for a meal for 2 pax. Worth it? Well, both hubby and I felt it is totally worth it for the ambience and the feel of the dinner beside the beach, watching sunset.

Our 'costly' dinner. Yummz. Seriously, the food were OK. Not super fantastic as raved. But the food was edible. The Cili Padi kicap is perfect for the squid.

Slowly, the sun began to set. It was about 6.30pm when the sun slowly set.

 After the sun set, everyone was eating in the romantic setting at the beach. We left around 6.45pm

Agus sent us home after the satisfying dinner. We could not finish the food and brought some back to the villa for supper ^^

We reached the villa around 7.30pm after the long ride home. As usual, it was jam here and there.

We rested at villa for that night and took this opportunity to show you that we had became a miliionaire in Bali!
