Lovely breakfast

Today is sunday and its a happy day! ^^ This morning I made breakfast following a recipe from the recipe book I posted yesterday. Today's breakfast menu is Mushroom omelet.

The Ingredients:
1/2 cup slices mushroom (in this case i used Swiss Brown mushroom)
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
1 teaspoon cooking oil
3-4 eggs lightly beaten
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat mozarella cheese
8 cherry tomatoes

Servings: 4 servings

Methods:
1. Preheat non-stick pan with some oil
2. Stir in mushroom and onions and stir till cook (5-7 minutes)
3. In a bowl mix egg, milk and black pepper together. Then, pour in the egg mixture into the pan.
4. Let the egg sit until the edge begins to cook. Use low to medium heat to cook the egg. Using a spoon or spatula, lift and fold the egg partially
5. Sprinkle on cheese on top of the egg and remove from heat immediately
6. Serve egg with tomatoes..

Tadaaa! Our lovely breakfast for the day!

Happy Trying

New semester new challenge

Today is Friday...good news is that weekend is here but bad thing is that next week is the beginning of the attachment is Selayang Hospital. Though this is not the first time there but this time I'm back there for clinical attachment instead of catering posting. Anyhow there will be some difference. We have three seniors working as a dietitian there, many people were saying that it is good have have our senior to train us but what I'm really worry of is that they will no longer treat us like we are the little junior, instead, they might be very strict and serious with us. I know myself well that I'm weak at so many things and it is terrible because I'm not very keen to learn more by myself compared to my colleagues. Too lazy of me. Haiz..what am I to do after this? Can I do it this sem on my own? Can I graduate smoothly? Will I get a good job and be happy with my coming future path? I hope everything will be fine.

Boring like hell!

Today is Friday and weekend is just around the corner..I've been waiting so long for this...But..you can see my expression.. This morning there won't be any class so I have to wait until afternoon to attend the discussion session at UKMMC (UKM Medical Center) But I have nothing much to do today. Perhaps I will read something after posting this..

Ermm... What I wanna say somemore? Ok..I'm gonna graduate soon this year. The good thing is that I will be ending my study life misery soon but the bad thing is moving into more stressful working life. Graduation is the border to the working life. Now that I've gone through one semester of training in UKMMC, I have a rough idea of how working life really is and I come out with one conclusion: Stressful and dull life! WTF!

I think I do miss the study time in my faculty especially is first and second year. That time I still get to hang out with my nutrition friend, Keh Len. But now, we rarely meet each other.. All I have with me is Jeremy and William as my close buddies and partner. To be honest, these are my close unimates and I always think that I'm lucky to make some close friends where ever I go..

I don't like making too much friends because it will be so freaking troublesome to attend so many outings and celebrations with so many different peoples. I will only care and 'layan' people or friends that I think they are my close friends and they worth it.. Compare to my darling, I think I am way much luckier because I have made many friends that are really my 'zhi gei' instead of 'zhu pang gao yao'. Whereas my darling he only has a few friends. We have different personality I guess. He can survive without friends but I can't. =) I think friends are someone we know and can share problems together. But best and super close friends are those that will stand by us, supporting us without any repay for it. I have these friends. My besties are in them..and also my matrix mates: Bass Ooi, Chau Wei and unimates: Jeremy, William, Keh Len...

I want to say TQ to all these buddies and friends for being with me, helping me supporting me when I have problems.. I really appreciate you all.. and to be honest, there is not expiry date to our friendship. My friend Keh Len said after graduation, our friendship will end and it has an expiry date. I was very hurt and sad to hear that. When I made a close friendship with someone, I mean it to last long and will never forget them or let it end just like that..I appreciate every friend I made...mean it..!

Ok...time to get ready for my class later..

Review: Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Masks

Good day everyone. Today is another post on review about two of my favorite facial masks. These two masks is my favorite since few years back. I stopped using these masks for some time as I could not find it anywhere in KL or even in Ipoh. But last week I accidentally came across it on the shelf in Carrefour Kepong Baru. I was excited and could not stop asking "Why I couldn't find these for so long? And now it is available back in Malaysia?" I quickly grabbed two of the masks that I love from this brand: Freeman. You can check out their product website here: Freeman

As you can see, here is the two types of facial mask that I bought. The left one is Avocado and Oatmeal mask, and the other one is Pineapple Enzyme mask. These two cost about RM18++ each and they both has different function and consistency. Both of these works pretty well for me and I just LOVE them. The products used to be in local pharmacies but last year, I could not find it anywhere. Currently, I can only see these masks in Carrefour Kepong, but not in local pharmacies. Using facial mask is crucial in a skin care routine and I personally prefer tube type or tub type of mask. I find that it is more cost effective and longer lasting compared to those sheet mask. Of course sheet masks are way more convenient and better in hygiene aspect, but I prefer masks that can be spread onto the face... ^^

The yellow tube is the Pineapple Enzyme mask. What so special about this mask is that it contains abundant AHA or alpha hydroxy acids which can help to loosen the 'glue' that attaches our dead skin cells onto our skin, So, removing the glue with AHA can remove the dead skin cells, leaving the skin softer, brighter and smoother. Personally, I find this mask good for those people with a lot of dead skin cells or dry flaky skin. This can remove the dead cells and prevent clogging of the pores which can lead to pimples or blackheads. As you can see below, this is how the enzyme mask looks like. It's gooey, yellowish, and smells great too..It dries off pretty fast on skin and when you rinse this off, use your finger tips to slowly massage you skin with the mask to remove the dead skin cells...I find it works well this way.

Next, is the green tube mask: Avocado and Oatmeal mask. Avocado is a fruit which is rich in good fatty acids and oatmeal is an anti inflammatory food. Both key ingredient work for skin care purpose and even for health benefit. This mask is a clay mask in general and clay mask works well to draw out impurities, oil and dirt from our pores. With this property, this mask is good for oily skin and people with many clogged pores as it can clear the pores to prevent clogging. Thus, preventing blackheads and pimples. I love this mask, mainly is because it has oatmeal in it. You know how much I love oatmeal for my skin and nowadays I've stopped cleansing with oatmeal, my skin turned out to be really bad again. Time to use oats again for cleansing...Top up with mask too.! The mask looks like cement-colored paste and it dries up quickly too..

Using a mask is important and usually I use these two masks once a week for different purpose and to treat my skin more.. Aside from normal routine, exfoliating and doing facial mask can keep your skin healthy.. When your skin healthy, you will feel happy too...

So, be patient with your skin and not to rush for the pimples to be gone asap, because, this will trigger you naughty hands and fingers to touch it and make things worse..

So bare in mind..beauty is not just on the surface, but also skin deep.. Eat well, sleep well and drink lots of water daily. Follow your skin routine and be patient with your skin...

Happy Pampering Your Skin

Friendship that never ends

I met up with besties not long ago during our CNY and our beloved Chia Wen took so many pictures of us together. It's obvious that she wanted to keep those pictures as a memory before she leaves Ipoh end of 2012. It's saddening because we've used so many years to keep our friendship strong and now she will be leaving us soon. Our dear Wai Leng will be furthering study in Singapore and so, this will make us all really separated kilometerssss away..I tried to calm myself and my besties. I believe that although we all have been separated for many years since high school, we still keep the friendship on until now. With Wai Leng, I've known her since standard 3, Jyn Ling in standard 4 and Chia Wen in secondary school. Our friendship have lasted for more than 5 years and even more than 10 years. I believe that it can even last forever..

Here are my beloved Ipoh besties (Jyn Ling, Chia Wen, Wai Leng). They've been my true friend, soul mate and buddies for so long. They lend me their ears each time I poured out all my misery and difficulties during our gathering. They listened to everything I said..Seriously.. I love them so much. They give me support and advice for just anything..They laugh with me but never cry with me b4..LOL..

Ok My besties is reading this post for sure and I'm just gonna say out what I really feel about them.

TO: Chia Wen,

Dear girl, my heart was aching that moment when I saw u dropped some tears at Jyn Ling's house when mentioned about your transfer to Penang. Girl, you said that after you've moved, you are a stranger to Ipoh. You must not think that way. Yes, you come back will no longer staying in Ipoh, but you are always part of Ipoh. All your secondary memories are in Ipoh and our friendship started in Ipoh too..It's sad to leave everything behind, but all those are just physically. Mentally, all memories will be with you no matter where you go. Though we may not be meeting often after you've moved, but believe me, our friendship will never end. It never will...plus, the distance can make us all stronger.. Chia Wen, you must be strong k? Everything will be just fine...Think positively k? We love you and will miss u. In the mean time, we try to spend as much time together as possible..Contact us if we happen to be back Ipoh again!

TO: Jyn Ling,

Dear darling, you've been the closest to me in Ipoh among our besties. You stay too near me and makes it so convenient for me to reach you when we're in Ipoh. I appreciate the time you gave me going out shopping and WALKING all the way from Kampung Simee to Jusco. Tiring, but when we're together, I just love that moment with you. You've been my listener for just everything. I appreciate the time you supported me during my breakup with JC.. You let me shed my tears with you that time. How ugly that I cried so badly to you. But, TQ! Without your support, I would be still crying back then. You cheered me up so much..TQ..I love u girl

TO: Wai Leng,

Dear Sor Po, to be honest I think you are a lucky girl. We all born in different family background. You've been a very funny and happy-go-lucky girl all these time. When be with you, time will always be fun and happy. But one thing I'm really worry for you is that, your life has been really easy all these time. I wanted to scold you when you told me you wanna study again. Everybody start working, you still wanna continue study and be burden to family. Sorry to be so honest. I think is because your family can support your study and don't mind at all. But you must study hard k? Don't make ur parents worry for you. I think when things go so smoothly, it's not a good thing. You must learn to be strong and not to be too naive about things k? No matter what you do, think twice and justify it..TQ for being a happy fruit all these time..I love u

Last but not least, I wan to say TQ for being a loyal and supportive besties ever.. I love you all... Promise me to be strong and take good care k? I don't want to be your dietitian in the future..
